Our fully online training course is a government-mandated 40 hours of training.

Packages

The Alberta Security Guard Training costs $99.95 and includes the full Guard Training course.

Getting Registered

Step 1: Register for the online course and begin training.

Step 2: Once you have completed the online course, you will be directed to fill out our exam booking form.

Step 3: We then connect you with our Government appointed Proctor to book an exam date and time in your city.

Step 4: Once you have completed the exam, the Proctor will submit your results to the Solicitor General of Alberta and they will provide you with your results directly. You will also receive a Program Completion Certificate which will be required when applying for your Security License.

Step 5: Get a criminal record check and your photo signed at your local police station. This check must include your criminal record, vulnerable sector, and local database.

Step 6: Begin your security license application. The Alberta Security License application is $100, which is valid for 2 years. The Alberta Government requires license holders to re-apply every two years to maintain a license. Below is a link to the Alberta Government website that includes the step-by-step process for applying for a License, as well as the requirements:
